1. Day 1: Xian Terracotta Warriors Tour
   Explore the Wonders of Ancient Architecture and the Culinary Culture of Xi'an

   Your China Xian tour begins with a meet-up at your downtown hotel. Then your knowledgeable guide and driver will escort you for 1 hour to the awe-inspiring Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum.

   Known as “the eighth Wonders of the World”, Terracotta Warriors slept under the ground for 2,200 years before the accidental discovery by local farmers who were digging wells. The life-size terracotta warriors differ from one another in clothing, hairstyle, posture, and facial expression. Since its opening to the public in 1979, it has attracted millions of people from all over the world each year and has become one of the things that represent China throughout the world.

   

   After lunch, your tour in Xian continues to the Xian City Wall in the city center. This is the largest and best preserved ancient city wall in China. Take a stroll and learn about its construction history under the guidance of your tour guide. You can also choose to ride a bicycle on the top of the city wall (for an additional fee).

   Descend from the City Wall and you will be transferred to the enchanting Yongxingfang Local Food & Folk Culture Quarter. Here, you will find many shops and stalls arranged in narrow alleys. Appreciate local handicrafts and taste various street snacks.

2. Day 2: Xian History Tour
   Appreciate Historical Relics and Muslim Buildings

   Today's Xian tour begins with the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the landmark of Xi'an, 64.517 meters high. It was built to store precious sutras and Buddha statues brought by monk Xuanzang from ancient India. If you are interested, pay an additional fee to climb up the pagoda and enjoy the panoramic view of the city. Also, you can explore the surroundings, where you may witness the morning exercises of locals.

   

   After lunch, you will be guided to visit the Xi'an Museum, where learn about the thousand-year history of founding the capital and the development of Xian. Also, admire many thematic displays, such as Buddhist statue art, ancient paintings and calligraphy, and jade wares. You will have a deep dive into the long and splendid history of Xian City and Shaanxi Province.

   After that, head to the Great Mosque, one of the two oldest mosques in Xian. The architecture was in traditional Chinese style, combined with Islamic style, with the roofs titled with glazed tiles, and most of the tiles are black. At the end of your 2-day Xian tour, you'll be escorted back to your hotel.
