Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Jinan Hot Springs Tour
   Admire Beautiful Springs and Nature Scenery

   Welcome to Jinan! Upon arrival, you will be greeted by private guide and driver. They will pick you up and take you to your hotel for check-in. After that you will start your Jinan tour.

   Start the day at Black Tiger Spring. It is a naturally formed hole with a depth of 3 meters. The spring water gushes under the boulder, and sounds like a tiger’s roar, so it is called the Black Tiger Spring. Here admire the spectacular view of the spring from a dedicated pavilion. And two vivid tiger statues can be seen on the east side of the spring.

   

   Continue your adventure with a relaxing boat cruise along the city moat. The water in Jinan moat is so clear that you can see fishes at the bottom of the river. On the way, admire the tall willows and the beautiful city view along the shore.

   Later move to Baotu Spring Park, which is a garden with the feature of spring water. Here enjoy the wonderful landscape scenery. One of the most famous sights is Baotu Spring. Standing on the shore, you will marvel at the spectacle of the three springs and dense trees. In addition to natural views, you can also visit many magnificent ancient buildings to learn more about Jinan culture, such as The Bamboo Garden.

   

   Then explore the Daming Lake, the largest city lake in Jinan with water as clear as a mirror. Here climb up to the Lake Pavilion and admire the wonderful view of the full lake. In summer, the lotus in the lake are in full bloom, providing a stunning view. Also visit the fine architecture around you and enjoy the tranquility of the area.

2. Day 2: Jinan Culture Tour
   Explore the Shandong History and Buddhist Culture

   After breakfast, you will proceed to the Shandong Museum to continue the private Jinan tour. The museum contains over 140,000 artifacts, as well as nearly 10,000 natural samples. Here appreciate a large number of ancient ceramics, bronzes, ancient books and paintings, oracle bones and so on. Also visit many exhibitions on Shandong history as well as the archaeological development of Shandong. With the guide’s explanation, you will learn more about the splendid Shandong culture.

   In addition, the architectural shape of the museum is distinctive, with a semi-circular dome on the upper part and a sculptural cube on the lower part. You can admire this grand building before entering the museum for a visit.

   Finally embark on a short half-hour drive to Thousand Buddha Mountain, which is centered on Buddhist culture and natural landscape. There are many Buddhist temples and grottoes on the mountain. Here marvel at thousands of Buddha statues carved in different forms. Walk along the mountain path and immerse yourself in the wonderful nature. And standing at the top of the mountain, you can overlook the beautiful scenery of Jinan.

   Note: The path to the top is a bit steep, so pay attention to safety.

   

   At the end of the tour, the private driver and guide will transfer you to the airport or train station.
