1. Day 1: Welcome to Beijing

   Your personalized guide and driver will meet you at the airport, and then transfer you to the hotel. After check-in, your guide provides a curated list of nearby attractions and dining options for your free evening exploration, ensuring you make the most of your first night in Beijing.

2. Day 2: Beijing City Tour
   Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, Peking Roast Duck Lunch, Hutongs, Temple of Heaven

   After breakfast, your tour begins in the world's largest public square, Tian'anmen Square. Tiananmen is the main gate of the Imperial Palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties, located on the traditional central axis of Beijing. In the past, only the emperor could enter and exit through this gate.

   Continuing north, you'll reach the Palace Museum, aka the Forbidden City. Covering an area of about 720,000 square meters, the Palace Museum houses around 9,000 rooms, making it the largest and most well-preserved ancient palace complex in China. The museum has a rich collection, including paintings, calligraphy, ceramics, gold and silver objects, and other artistic treasures. Here, you can admire the palace's historical sites in their original state, explore exhibitions showcasing the history of the imperial court, and view a variety of art collections in both permanent and temporary exhibitions.

   

   For lunch, indulge in Peking Roast Duck at a local restaurant. Your chef may share the artistry behind preparing this iconic dish, adding cultural depth to your culinary experience.

   The afternoon includes a rickshaw tour through Hutongs, where your guide will lead you to visit a local family and learn about authentic Siheyuan life. After that, transfer to the Temple of Heaven, the largest ancient sacrificial building complex in China. It was a place for the emperors of the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing dynasties (1644-1911) to worship heaven, and pray for grain and rain. You will explore the ancient religious complex and its significance in Chinese cosmology.

3. Day 3: Great Wall Adventure
   Mutianyu Great Wall, Ming Tombs, Bird's Nest

   In the morning, we drive to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, 75km north of central Beijing. With a total length of 5,400 meters, it is the longest section of the Great Wall in China and one of the famous sixteen sights of Beijing. Upon arrival, your guide accompany you up the Great Wall via a cable car and you will be greeted by breathtaking views of the winding wall and the surrounding landscapes. Enjoy a scenic hike along this marvel of ancient engineering.

   

   After that, we will go to explore the Ming Tombs, where emperors were laid to rest. Your guide shares stories of the Ming Dynasty and the construction of these grand mausoleums. On your return to Beijing, catch a glimpse of the Bird's Nest, the iconic stadium from the 2008 Olympic Games, providing a modern architectural contrast.

4. Day 4: High-Speed Train to Xi'an
   Summer Palace

   After breakfast, you will enjoy a leisurely morning at Summer Palace, a renowned classical garden from the Qing Dynasty and one of China's four famous gardens. The palace features pavilions, temples, and serene lakes. For a delightful experience, you can consider boating on Kunming Lake, where you will appreciate the harmonious integration of architecture and nature.

   

   After that, your guide will assist you with a high-speed train ride to Xi'an, sharing insights into China's rapid development in transportation infrastructure. Upon arrival, the local driver will pick you up and escort you to the hotel in the downtown area.

5. Day 5: Xi'an Historical Tour
   Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Small Wild Goose Pagoda, Xi'an Museum

   Today's tour will take you to explore the cultural sites of Xi'an. The first stop is the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, nestled on the outskirts of Xi'an. This archaeological marvel is a large underground sculpture group. These exquisite clay warriors were crafted during the Qin Dynasty (221 - 206 BC) to protect the mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China. The Terracotta Army consists of a vast number of figures, each with a unique appearance, showcasing the military and artistic prowess of ancient China. Visiting the Terracotta Army provides a deep insight into the history and culture of the Qin Dynasty, allowing one to experience the greatness and mystery of ancient China.

   

   After lunch, return to Xian City to explore the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. This ancient Buddhist structure, dating back to the Tang Dynasty, stands as a symbol of ancient Xian. 6. Day 6: Xi'an City Tour

Next, you will be guided to take a bike ride atop the Ancient City Wall, enjoying panoramic views of the city. Built during the Ming Dynasty, this well-preserved structure offers a glimpse into the city's past.

   

   After that, transfer you to experience the harmonious blend of traditional Chinese and Islamic architecture at the Great Mosque, one of Xian's oldest mosques. 7. Day 7: Xian to Zhangjiajie
   Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, Tianzi Mountain, Golden Whip Stream, Ten-mile Gallery

   Today, spend your whole day in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. You will first visit Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, home to the world's highest natural stone bridge and the Guinness World Record - Bailong Elevator. We will ride the world's highest outdoor sightseeing elevator. Once you reach the top, enjoy the stunning view of Avatar's "Hallelujah Mountain."

   

   Continue to Tianzi Mountain via a sightseeing bus ride. Tianzi Mountain boasts majestic unique rock peaks, dense forests, and crystal-clear streams. Standing at the summit, you can overlook the breathtaking scenery of the entire valley. Golden Whip Stream, situated at the foot of Mount Tianzi, is a pristine stream with clear waters meandering through the landscape. A leisurely stroll along the stream allows you to appreciate the unique mountain and water scenery, experiencing the magical charm of nature. Additionally, Golden Whip Stream is one of the filming locations for the classic TV series "Journey to the West," and you can recognize iconic scenes from the show.

   Lastly, you can enjoy a scenic small train journey through the enchanting Ten-mile Gallery.

8. Day 8: Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon

   Today, you will experience the adrenaline rush of walking on the Glass Bridge, which is the world's longest and highest glass-bottomed bridge, suspended over the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. The canyon is filled with lush vegetation, fresh air, and a cool, comfortable atmosphere. A thin mist hovers above the streams, creating a surreal and peaceful environment.

   

   After that, take a boat cruise on the serene Baofeng Lake, surrounded by towering sandstone pillars. With a depth of 72 meters and a length of 2.5 kilometers, Baofeng Lake has become a representative work of Wulingyuan water scenery with its beautiful lake color and secluded caves.
